Peninsula Endurance
Tailored Training Plans
Forget generic plans built by AI for someone else's life. Every program is built around your schedule, your commitments, and your goals — then adjusted as life happens. The best plan is the one that works around you.
High-Touch Coaching
You won't be left wondering. Expect weekly check-ins, open lines of communication, and real responsiveness when you need it. This is coaching that shows up the way you do.
Athlete-First Approach
No two athletes are the same, and your coaching shouldn't be either. Every decision — from training load to recovery — is made with your individual needs, history, and goals at the center.
Hands-On Support
When you need more than a screen, we show up in person. From track sessions to open water swims, in-person coaching is available for athletes who want eyes on their form and a coach by their side.
Gear & Nutrition Guidance
The right equipment and the right fuel make a measurable difference. Get honest, experience-backed advice on what to wear, what to eat, and what's actually worth investing in — without the noise.
Race Execution & Preparation
Fitness gets you to the start line. Preparation gets you through it. From course recon and race-day simulations to transition strategy and pacing plans, we build the mental and tactical readiness to match your physical training.
Client Reviews
“Daniel’s prior knowledge of Escape from Alcatraz helped me navigate the nuances of the course and successfully finish (even in the rain).”
— JY (Former Customer), Escape from Alcatraz Finisher“Daniel helped me fix my weakest leg [the swim] after watching footage of my swim stroke. This really helped me conquer the leg that I was most worried about in my first triathlon”
— CY (Current Customer), Tri Santa Cruz Sprint Finisher
Who Am I
Daniel is a USA Triathlon Level 1 certified coach with a simple philosophy: the best coaches have lived what they teach. His endurance journey hasn't been a straight line — it's been built through early mistakes, hard lessons, and the kind of experience you can only earn by doing. From navigating the chaos of open water swims to figuring out pacing and nutrition through trial and error, Daniel has been through the full spectrum of what endurance sport throws at you. That journey is what makes him a better coach — because he's not just teaching from a textbook, he's coaching from the trenches.
His coaching focus is short to middle distance — sprint, Olympic, and 70.3 — where preparation, execution, and the right plan make all the difference.
